It focuses on identifying and amplifying your strengths, resources, and abilities, while inducing a state of relaxation and heightened suggestibility to access the subconscious mind and make positive changes.

We won't dwell on the past because it's already happened and cannot be changed. Instead, we'll work together to create a brighter future full of hope and possibility.

In our hypnotherapy sessions, we'll explore the positive thoughts, actions, and interactions you've had recently. With some thought-provoking questions, you’ll come up with positive solutions for any challenges you may be facing. We’ll finish off with a calm and positive guided relaxation (hypnosis) to cement all the good stuff we have spoken about. You'll leave the session feeling empowered and equipped with positive actions to help you achieve your desired life. And for smoking cessation, we'll spend a little extra time together to make sure you're set up for success.

Hypnosis is a remarkable and natural state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness that allows you to tap into the incredible power of your subconscious mind. In this state, you become more open to suggestion and can make positive changes in your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. You may not realise it, but you slip into this state all the time - when you're focused on a task, watching TV, driving a regular route or working out in the gym.

Can anyone be hypnotised? 

Can anyone be hypnotised? 

In general, most people can be hypnotised to some extent. However, the level of hypnosis and responsiveness to suggestion can vary from person to person. Factors such as willingness, belief, trust, and comfort with your hypnotherapist can also influence the effectiveness of hypnosis. It's important to note that hypnosis is a collaborative process, and you must be willing and actively participate in the experience for it to be effective. The more you practice it, the better at it you become.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No, you cannot get stuck in hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state that people go in and out of regularly throughout the day. In a therapeutic setting, I will guide you out of the hypnotic state and bring you back to a fully alert state of consciousness. Even if I were to unexpectedly leave the room or end the session without properly guiding you out of hypnosis, you would eventually come out of the hypnotic state on your own, typically within a few minutes. It is important to note that hypnotherapy is a safe and non-invasive form of therapy.

It's unfortunate that hypnosis is often misunderstood due to the stigma surrounding stage hypnosis that you may have seen on TV. However, it's important to note that clinical hypnotherapy is a completely different and legitimate form of therapy that has been proven to be effective in treating a wide range of issues.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we've discovered that online hypnotherapy can be just as effective, if not more so, than in-person sessions. As you are able to access the power of your mind from the comfort of your own home where you are more relaxed.

IMPORTANT: Please be advised that hypnotherapy outcomes may vary from client to client. It is important to note that no therapy can guarantee a 100% result. As part of my process, all clients are required to complete a questionnaire during their Initial Consultation to disclose certain medical information before undergoing hypnotherapy. While clinical hypnotherapy is generally safe, we recommend that individuals who are epileptic or undergoing psychiatric treatment obtain a letter from their medical practitioner to confirm their suitability for hypnotherapy.
