You’re probably here because something doesn’t feel right in your career.
Maybe you wake up with a sense of dread, wondering how much longer you can keep going.
Maybe the spark you once had has faded, replaced by stress, boredom or a quiet ache that whispers, “Surely, there’s more to work than this.”
Maybe you feel stuck. Tired of trying to make things better but not knowing what “better” even looks like anymore.
If any of that sounds familiar, I want you to know this: you’re not alone. I’ve been there too.
Think of me as your guide, the one who asks the right questions (even the uncomfortable ones) to help you move forward and get real results.
I’m a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. I help professionals who feel stuck, burnt out or disconnected from their work find clarity, confidence and calm, so they can finally align with work that’s right for them and enjoy a fulfilling career.
Great question.
It’s a modern, practical form of therapy that blends the best of talking therapy (psychotherapy), hypnosis, and neuroscience.
It’s designed to help you move forward, not get stuck in the past. We focus on what’s working, what you want to create, and how your brain can support you in getting there.
And with consistent effort, it can work surprisingly quickly. Which makes it perfect for busy professionals where time, energy and headspace are all in short supply.
It’s not about digging into old wounds. It’s about creating space to think clearly, regulate your nervous system, and build the momentum to make meaningful change.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy blends powerful tools from a range of approaches, including CBT, NLP, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, so you get a modern, results-focused experience that helps you make real progress, fast.
If I was going to build a career, I wanted to do it my way, with integrity, honesty, and a sense of purpose.
And for a long time, I did.
I showed up fully. I went the extra mile. I worked and cared like it was my company. I gave my energy, time and loyalty without hesitation.
But here’s what I didn’t realise back then: when you give that much of yourself to systems that don’t return the same care, it takes a toll.
That was my burnout blueprint.
Because even though I was committed, capable, and genuinely wanted to make things better, the environments weren’t set up to hold that kind of care. The more I gave, the more was expected. Boundaries blurred. Recognition faded. And slowly, I ran myself into the ground.
I thought working harder would fix it. That maybe if I just kept going, it would all click into place.
But instead, I found myself depleted. Disconnected. Wondering if this was really all work was ever going to feel like.
And here’s what I came to realise: no matter how hard you try to make things better, if the culture is toxic from the top down, you have very little hope of changing it.
So many companies are run by people with little real leadership experience, people with no emotional awareness, no real understanding of how to support others, and no genuine care for wellbeing.
To most organisations, you're not a human being. You're a number.
And in those environments, it’s not always the hard workers, the changemakers or the quietly brilliant ones who get recognised. It’s the loudest. The most agreeable.
The ones who play the game. I watched brown-nosers rise while true leaders were overlooked. Slackers rewarded while those doing the heavy lifting were ignored. I saw racism, sexism, bias — all brushed under the carpet.
And it hit me: you can be incredible at what you do and still be devalued in a workplace that’s not built to recognise you.
The more I tried to bring heart, integrity and purpose into places that didn’t value it, the more it broke me down.
It wasn’t until I realised that how I was working — not just where — was breaking me, that things started to change.
So I started learning. Books, courses, coaching, anything that might help me understand why I felt the way I did.
Why was I so exhausted?
Why couldn’t I shake the feeling that something was missing?
And what would it take to feel fulfilled in my work?
What I found changed everything.
The real shift? Stopping smoking with hypnosis.
That experience sent me deep into research mode (because of course, I had to understand how and why it worked). Within a year, I was training as a clinical hypnotherapist in solution focused hypnotherapy.
And that changed everything.
Fulfilment doesn’t come from finding the perfect job. It comes from understanding what truly fuels you and giving yourself permission to build a career around that.
I stopped chasing roles that looked good on paper and started paying attention to what actually felt right:
What gave me energy.
What made a difference to me.
What felt like mine to do.
I stopped acting like I was the CEO, because I wasn’t paid like one. And I realised I didn’t need to carry the weight of broken systems to prove my worth.
When I started aligning with who I actually was, not who I thought I had to be, everything shifted.
Like many people, the pandemic made me pause and reflect. But for me, it did more than that, it cracked something open.
That’s when I trained as a life coach. And for the first time, I felt a deep yes. A quiet certainty that I was meant to help others. That all the knowledge and insight I’d spent years collecting, all the books, courses, reflection, it wasn’t random. It was leading somewhere.
Then came the moment that truly blew my mind.
I stopped smoking using hypnosis and I had to understand how. So, I did what I always do when something fascinates me: I went into full research mode. Somewhat obsessively (but hey, that’s just how I’m wired).
And just like that, I’d found the missing piece.
Next thing I knew, I was training as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and for the first time in my career, it all clicked.
I didn’t need to abandon everything I’d learned from the corporate world. I just needed to reimagine how I used it.
That’s when everything changed.
Through Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and The Purposeful Professional program, I support people who feel stuck in a version of their career that no longer fits and help them reconnect with what does.
Because you don’t need to stay trapped in a job that drains you.
You can shape something that feels like home.
If you’re ready to begin, I’d love to show you how.
I’ve lived career burnout. I’ve felt the slow ache of misalignment. I know how hard it is to be an employee in systems that were never really designed for our brains, our bodies, or our lives.
That’s why today, I help others find what I found: clarity, confidence and calm.
Through Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, The Purposeful Professional program and my other trainings, I support people who feel stuck in a version of their career that no longer fits and help them reconnect with what does.
Because you don’t have to stay in survival mode. You don’t have to stay trapped in a job that drains you.
You can create something that feels right for you and I’d love to help you get there.
